Compatibility
- Compatible with MPO-MPO fiber connection environments used with Cisco, HPE, Huawei, and similar equipment.
- Can be used for MPO backbone, MPO patch panels, MPO cassettes, and high-density optical module links.
- Interface, polarity, and end-face type can be confirmed according to the project port configuration.
Performance Parameters
- Data Rate: Supports 40G / 100G high-density fiber links; 10G breakout links should be confirmed according to polarity, core count, and module plan.
- Test Standard: Before shipment, insertion loss, return loss, polarity, and end-face cleanliness can be inspected as required.
- Fluke Test: Fiber link-loss testing can be performed according to project acceptance requirements.
- Attenuation: Measures connector insertion loss and total patch-cord link loss.
- Crosstalk: Focuses on polarity, end face, and port mapping to avoid link interruption caused by fiber patching errors.
Materials & Construction
- Fiber Type: Single-mode OS2 or multimode OM3 / OM4 / OM5 can be selected according to project requirements.
- Jacket Material: Optional LSZH low-smoke zero-halogen jacket, suitable for cabinet and indoor cabling.
- Construction Confirmation: Can be produced with 8-fiber, 12-fiber, 24-fiber, or other counts, and according to male / female and polarity A / B / C requirements.
- Termination Materials: Connector ends can use precision ferrules and dust caps to reduce end-face contamination risk.

- Packaging: Coiled packaging, pulling-eye protection, carton, and pallet packaging are available.
- Label Packaging: Length, interface, fiber type, polarity, and port number can be marked.
- MOQ: Common interfaces and lengths can be ordered by pack or full carton.
- Custom MOQ: Special length, polarity, end face, breakout structure, or OEM packaging orders are confirmed by project quantity; custom projects can be discussed for requirements of RMB 200,000 or above.
Installation & Use
This MPO fiber patch cord comes with factory terminated connectors, so it can be connected directly to optical transceivers, ODFs, fiber patch panels, or terminal equipment.
Before installation, check the MPO polarity, pin type, port number, and trunk direction. Keep the dust caps on before use, clean the end faces before plugging in, and avoid pulling the cable or bending it too tightly. After installation, check the end faces, polarity, port numbers, and link loss.
Lead Time & Supply Capacity
- In-stock Availability: Common interfaces, polarities, and lengths are usually in stock for replenishment and urgent projects.
- Production Lead Time: For items not in stock, production usually takes approximately 10 working days.
- Custom Lead Time: For length, interface, fiber type, polarity, end face, or OEM packaging requirements, lead time is confirmed based on order quantity and production schedule.
- Shipment Confirmation: Inventory quantity, packaging method, and estimated dispatch time can be confirmed before ordering.
- Supports 12 fibers/24 fibers/48 fibers backbone fiber optic cable configuration.
- Supports configurations with 1, 2, or 4 MPO connectors on each end
- Customizable length, polarity, interface gender, and breakout length
- Supports G.652D, OM3, and OM4 fiber types
- Labels and packaging can be customized according to data center cabinet numbering

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between an MPO-MPO Trunk Cable and a standard MPO jumper?
-
Trunk cables typically have higher fiber counts and can include multiple MPO ports and breakout units, making them suitable for bundled backbone deployment.
What fiber counts are supported?
-
Standard options include 12, 24, and 48 fibers, subject to project design confirmation.
What is the purpose of the dual-jacket construction?
-
The dual jacket improves overall tensile strength and cabling protection, making it suitable for bundled backbone installation.
Can it be used directly for data center backbone?
-
Yes. It is commonly used for pre-terminated backbone connections between areas such as MDA and HDA.
Can the polarity be customized?
-
Yes. Polarity and A/B end marking can be customized according to equipment and distribution plans.
