Founded in 1956, Inner Mongolia Medical University is one of the earliest medical colleges and universities established in ethnic minority areas in New China. Its predecessor, Inner Mongolia Medical College, was affiliated to the Ministry of Health at that time and was placed under the administration of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in 1958. In 2012, it was renamed Inner Mongolia Medical University. In 2017, it became a university jointly established by the People's Government of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the National Health and Family Planning Commission, and the Ministry of Education. Over the past 68 years, it has cultivated more than 120,000 talents at all levels and types for the country, making significant contributions to the economic development, social progress, scientific and technological innovation, cultural inheritance, ethnic unity, and border stability of the autonomous region. It has become a multidisciplinary medical university with regional characteristics.
This project involves the wireless coverage renovation of the student dormitory at Jinshan Campus, deploying over 1,000 wireless access points (APs). It adopts the WINWANT Category 6 unshielded system, which meets the full Gigabit transmission requirements, solving the original issues of slow internet speeds and difficulties in access for students, and greatly enhancing their internet experience.
