A1: No. Riser cable does not have low smoke zero halogen properties. If you install it in air ducts or return air plenums, it can produce heavy smoke and toxic gas in a fire. This violates NEC rules. Please choose the right flame rating for your installation area.
Q2: What is the maximum pulling tension? What should I note during installation?
A2: The maximum installation tension is no more than 110N, about 11 kg. For vertical runs, we suggest fixing the cable with ties or hooks every floor. This shares the cable weight. It avoids long-term tension and conductor deformation.
