It is for vertical shafts between floors. For example, from the telecom room to each floor. If your project does not have return air spaces, CMR is enough. It costs much less than CMP. Our Cat6 Plenum Rated Cable uses CMR-grade jacket material. It passes UL 1666 vertical flame tests. In a fire, this cable does not spread flames quickly. This is critical in high-rise buildings. The riser shaft goes straight up. A fire there spreads like a chimney. Our cable stops that risk.

Our Cat6 Plenum Rated Cable uses 23 AWG solid bare copper conductors. It has a plastic cross-frame inside. It holds the four twisted pairs to cut crosstalk. It runs at 250 MHz bandwidth. It meets ANSI/TIA-568-C.2 and ISO/IEC 11801 standards. The jacket is flame-retardant PVC. It passed UL 1666 vertical burn tests. We can provide test reports and certificates.
